Athol Williams

Athol is an award-winning poet from South Africa. He has received the following poetry awards:

2015 Sol Plaatje European Union Poetry Award for 'Streetclass Diseases' (published in Bumper Cars)

2016 Sol Plaatje European Union Poetry Award for 'Visit at Tea Time'

2016 Parallel Universe Poetry Competition Winner at Oxford University for 'Chemical Potential'

2016 Runner-up for South African Literary Award for the book 'Bumper Cars'

2017 South African Independent Publishers Award for the book 'Invitation'

His poems have been published in literary journals and anthologies internationally. Additionally, he is the author of the Oaky Series of inspirational and educational children's books, and Pushing Boulders, his autobiography.

Athol holds degrees from Harvard, Oxford, MIT, LSE, London Business School and Wits.

Steve Tsakiris

​

Steve Tsakiris is a public speaker, teacher, writer, and workshop facilitator. A long time fascination with the subconscious mind as well as ardent study of a variety of traditions from both the west and the east, Steve’s eclectic interests include: Zen Buddhism, Philosophy, Quantum Physics, Jungian Psychology, Shamanism, the Vedic Tradition, Sufism, and Kabbalah, amongst others. He believes that in our frenetic world there is a need to slow down and become re-acquainted with the multidimensional nature of our being. He advocates that spirituality should play a practical day-to- day role in order to achieve an holistic approach to the way we live and to the way we structure our society.
